Upside
down, inside out, backwards and in between, it all comes down to the
same thing. Every way you think about athletics,
it
comes down to DESIRE. One deep breath, one straight shot, one
long run from scrimmage, one more big tackle and then do it
all
over again. The athlete is not born of competition.
The
athlete is not even born FOR competition... Competition is a by-product
of
another element. DESIRE. The fundamental element in
all
things accomplished in this world is desire. Desire is the
starting
point, it's what keeps us
going through the years, and in the end it's all that ever mattered.
